I may not be able to beat Kurtis, but I guarantee I would be very close. Course I have a dialy driver at the end of the day.

I don't want to admit how much I have put into the car and I bought it new as well. My monthly payments of $615 are almost finished. Not to say I still don't have some other debt related to the car - (motor / blower) but that is about 12 months left. Course the car is on the road 6 - 8 months a year and has about 92,000 KMS on it so at least I actually DRIVE it. Insurance about $150 month and gas $400 -$550 per month.

My Quicken program will tell me to the penny how much I have spent but very seriously, I have never added it all up together. I have done it year by year and I have a pretty good idea as to the total, but I want to put my head in the sand and not have to admit it to myself.

Car payment, $600.00 Car insurance, $250.00 Gas, $120.00. Driving the car you want without worrying about how much it cost, PRICELESS.

Well, on the avg, I've always spent about $500 to $1500 every year on my car for mods/parts alone..

catback, lid, sfc's, shifter..

17" SS takeoff rims and tires

tires, shocks, front sway bar

replacement 10 bolt, T2R diff, C5 brake adapters

for 2004 I already plan on getting new front red c5 brake calipers, rotors, etc stuff... and have to replace the rear pads, and possibily rotors. Thats probably about $600 right there.. Clutch might have to be replaced by then too..

I think by 2005-2006, I'll be looking to replace various suspension bushings front and back, since the car will be about 7 years old with close to 100k miles on it then... and anything else.. Or perhaps i might convice myself to get a 2003 Z06.. hoping that their prices go down since the C6 will be out... and get a 422 put in it... although if the rumors are correct, the C6 may just as fast!

Small change to what some of you throw into your car though! Hats off to all your serious modders out there!

well I try not to count. In 99 I spent over $25,000 USD to own my car and we had to park it. We only put 900 miles on it that year. Three motors and a blower do ALOT of damage.

Last year we spent $6,360 for payments and Insurance. Then $330 to fix bad comp cam and roll bearings in it(14 hour round trip out and back in the car). Add to this about $900 to get heads ported and reinstall them. Another $55 to build Y-Pipe. I almost forgot the $2,400 for a 12 bolt. Hmmm... Two Nitto 555RIIs $380 installed..YET Another set of Comp POS Pro Magnums...CSI Water pump...

This year so far We have put 6,000 miles on it and spent less then $1,000 to race and drive it.

Now if we want to add parts that are not yet installed???

Well I have a set of Coated Wiseco pistons for sale Wont work with my new head combo. Wiseco #K264A3 for 383 with 6inch rods. $550

Other then that you will have to keep guessing

Only Moneys owed on the car is $500 I owe KT for an Un-named part

Nice part is if I pull the Insurance I can leave it parked in the Garage and it wont cost me a Dime
