No Payments here.
In the summer time about $200/month. (insurance, fuel, fluid change and cleaning products)

In the winter about $15/month. (storage insurance)

i think twitch or silversupersport will take the cake on this one but i spend about $875-900
it is 420 a month for the car then 205 for insurance and then 250-275 for gas. that is a bloody mortgage payment.
well mods this winter will bring that up

assuming you not 18 with a poor driving record or borrowed 100% to pay for the car or hitting walls - normal operating costs are not to bad

~$100/mth on insurance
~$120 month on gas
~$25 on fliuds

It the mods that kill you - big bucks in a single chunk

I drive 6 mths a year - park it for 6 which lowers costs to ~$15/mo
and thank god I'm done my modding till it blows up

Car payment - 460
Insurance - 175
Gas - 200ish for 300kms/week of city driving
Maintenance - who knows, not too much really
Mods - couple thousand over the last year

I am taking the car off the road in a week or so. I should be able to save something like 300/month over the winter by doing that. I may get day insurance once in a while on nice days. I have no other vehicles though, so I will be busing to work. It is only a 15 minute ride and pretty much door to door, so not bad at all.

Kurtis wins

It's true that this hobby COSTS some serious money. I choose not to think about it...whats another $1000 here or there I suppose it's better than drinking or snorting it away....but just as expensive. This hobby keeps me busting my ***

You gotta pay if ya wanna play

~$100 every time there's a street legal event (2 day permit, gas, entry fee, food)

In June I dropped around 8000 into mine - new engine and assorted freshening up goodies - carb, headers, motor mounts and little things.

Late August I bought a pair of slicks and 1 rim totaling around $650.

Subframe connectors for $100

MSD 7 for $200

Drag shocks for $100

Thats about it for this summer.

LOL I bet I spend an AVERAGE of 900-1000 USD on my car a month. Insurance, gas, mods, maintaince and payment. Thats pretty conservative. Mostly mods, my payment and insurance are low I'm an old man now

And Kurtis I feel you, Mike (mikey97 M6) and I were just talking today, we should go into the car business like you to try and get the flow to build something like that MONSTER you have on Jackstands!!!

You guys see that post by JimLab the guy doing the 396 RX7 paid 34 grand so far for JUST THE MOTOR!!!!! (well including fuel managment system) That is some bank!
