I don't get it whats so funny, poor guy was having fun with his car as I do 20 times a day, I don't think it would be funny if that happened to me.

Well, you start out slowly. Start doing slides around low speed corners until you can comfortably control it without a tank slap. THEN you start to bring the speed up. I know I have lost it at speed in a slide and just barely recovered. Im not saying I am a great driver, but I do have a lot of practice in beaters sliding around (the only fun you can have in a slow sub-$1000 car).
That guy was trying to show off for the camera, was going far too fast for the corner, and did not induce the oversteer correctly. Its pretty easy to see he doesnt have enough practice even if he hadnt hit the curb. Its one thing to have an "off" because of a slight error but its another to have an off because you are stupid .
