had a blast at Auto-x

I found my new sport

auto-x is where its at

had so much fun even though my car was runnin the sh*ts, missing a rear sway bar, totally untuned shocks, gay *** street tires plowin everywhere .. i still managed some decent times and had loads of fun

for autox .. more people need to show up on sundays

time to mod the sh*t out of my suspension and buy some R1 tires and soop up the breaks some more

heres the official results (indexed)

best time of day: 45.1 some 240 sx
Me: 51.4
Craig: 52.2
Mike: 54.5

cant wait to go back out there again

bah shut up Matt - you shouldn't talk until you come out and try it. I bet you'll get smoked by everyone .

Payam, get tires and a front alignment first, then worry about suspension. Glad you had fun .

I am going to get some new shocks - that wheelhop you were seeing was pretty severe on right hand turns. I also need a tire trailer and a hitch so I can tow my R1s to the track. They are terrible on the street and if it rains I'm dead.

Well it's either that, or get someone else to take the 4X315 tires, or trailer the car out.

Any volunteers to haul my tires around? Didn't think so!

Yeah lots of fun for sure.
My car plows like a friggen dumptruck I think I was faster when I had less suspension on these crappy tires.

Amit- I should have looked on the ubcscc board earlier. I would have loved to had the driver training cause I sure need it

Tires, alignment, and the !driver mod are my next goals.

I cant get any more camber on my front alignment craigo ... Fbody camber blues !!!

I think a set of tires and having a rear sway bar will go a long way as well as more practice

i only wish i had 315 R1s in the front like u

as for Matt, done be a p*ssy and get your *** out there... it aint as easy as smokin people on the street

Words to live by: "If you can still turn, you aren't going fast enough!"

J/k to all you corner boys...my heart is still with drag racing. Although, since taking a new 911C4s for a "spin," I have a new appreciation for turning corners

don't knock it till you try it! just come out once and you will be hooked.

Yesterday was a superb course, not many people, and very well organized - typical of UBC club events.
