Re: Goldfires Crash Pic

Hurts to look at . I was cut-off and crashed on the alex fraser. bounced off the wall 4x with the brakes locked, sliding backwards. Pretty scary.. I'm just happy no one got hurt (besides me). I've been off work for 2 weeks now with soft tissue back injuries.

Car is in the shop, witness blames me, premiums are sky-rocketing 45%. I'm ****ed, oh joy!

$5700 damage. fortunatly no twisting. So they say, anways.

*big sigh*

That blows, F*cking witnesses suck ballz, what do they know, its like like you've been racing around & telling them, F*cking idiots. Anyways just tell them what happened & you'll be fine, ICBC will cover you & all will be well except your premiums, unless you don't want them to fix the car then you can save your premiums & fix it yourself lol.

Matt.

Sorry to hear it. Unfortunately everyone will be quick to blame a young male in a performance car and when they have witnesses (unbiased, so to speak) stating the same, ICBC will likely put it all on your shoulders, regardless of the truth. I don't envy you.

Dude that really sucks, it looks like some bad damage. Any frame damage?? I totaly agree with ChriSS on that ICBC and the witnesses will try to f a young person first before they look at what totally happened. Good luck on everything that happens and hope you feels better.

Re: Goldfires Crash Pic

Bingo. As soon as the cop got out of his car, i saw prejudice written all over his face . As for frame damage, I think I got lucky and avoided it.

Also, I used to work at Don Beck Collision in white rock, so, I made sure the meet up with the owner and go over it from front to back. I'm actually having all minor imperfections (one or two, the car was flawless *sigh*) taken out and having it repainted completely.

It's in good hands

Re: Goldfires Crash Pic

So I got a phone call last night from the body shop. Estimator tells me that pulled it into the frame shop and measured it up... it's twisted quite a bit.

$9400 is the new total = "totalled"

So yeah, now I have to bicker with ICBC over how much my car was worth.
