Re: GM service manuals online
I am suprised that the link is operational. Once GM figures it out they will close the door. Users now have to subscribe to their service and pay for it.The originaly GM webserver was free until they figured out that they can charge for it and now everything needs a password.
While this website is somewhat accurate, it isn't the same as what I see from a dealers server. Like if you go to the engine controls schematics there is some mechanical transmission stuff intermixed with it. I found that sorta strange. The other wierd thing about this site is that it only goes to 2002. The stuff I have and what the GM Dealer servers sees is valid to 2004.
Enjoy it while you can, as it won't last long once the GM IT Gestapo gets wind of it.
