.. in pretty much ALL my mods
LT4 heads.. intake .. CC306 .. valvetrain .. nitrous .. HAL suspension .. Drag wheels and tires .. fronts .. backs
lets just say im sick and f*cking tierd of my car the way it is now ... its barely driveable .. cant run a decent freakin 1/4 mile .. i just got 140 clicks to my last tank (great) ..
im thinking about taking one of the 2 options
1) put the car back to stock and sell it... buy a vette .. be happy forever
2) make it streetable .. put a blower on it .. some AFR 190 (low compression) .. smaller cam .. posi .. tight street suspension .. 17 or 18" wheels .. etc etc etc

I like the sound of option 1, buy the vette and be happy forever.
I don't know how big your budget will be but I too would like to join the vette club someday. I'd like to find an old 65-67 coupe vette or a brand new one. This year is the last of the C5 and there are some 50th anniversary vettes around. I'm already considering trading the hawk but I want to see the new C6. I had a chance quite a few years ago to buy a 58 ragtop vette numbers matching 283 2-speed powerglide but I passed on it.
The paint was starting to dull but it was all original in good condition. I could have had that one for $12,000 in the mid eighties. That vette now with new paint would fetch $50,000. There's no really good deals on old classic cars now so I'm leaning toward the new vettes. Eagle Ridge Pontiac had an 02 ZO6 vette that stickered for $78.000 and advertized it for $62,999 late last year. Someone stole that midnight blue one for $60,000 I heard. If I don't trade up I'll be content for awhile with what I've got now but once I see that C6 in person I'll be drooling.
