Angry GAS!!! I need a beater!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I HATE BUSH AND I HATE OUR FREAKIN ALCOHOLIC, SLEEPING WITH HIS ASSISTANT PREMIER FOR RAISING THE GAS PRICES!!!!!!!!! $105.9/ LTRE FOR 94 OCTANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!! I AM NOW OFFICIALLY LOOKING FOR A BEATER TO DRIVE AROUND IN. I WILL PARK MY CAR UNTIL MAY, WHEN THE WEATHER GETS A LOT HOTTER. The way I look at it ,the money I'll save will pay for the bottle, the cam, and a few other toys I'm thinking about.

Anyone who has a car they want to sell? I prefer a GM vehicle , will also consider other brands except for Ford and Mazda which is affiliated with Ford. Oh yeah, and it can't be a V8

I won't have a beater till summer. I can't belive that the day my car goes back on the road it, A: snowed, B: gas prices went up and C: put a fuel hungry cam in which i'm starting to make peace with.

My beater has a 6.0 Litre LS1

Still better on gas then my car was but o well. I have come to the conclusion I cant drive anything without 8 cylinders

The only vehicle i ever had without a v8 was my 65 chevy truck with good ole three on the tree. But I plan on stuffing something in her soon enough

My 'beater' is an 81 Mercedes 300D. Diesel power! I commute between Burnaby and Cloverdale and spend around $40 every two weeks in fuel.

It's comfortable, easy to work on, very reliable and in suprisingly good shape for such an old car. The interior is practily brand new.

I love my beater.
