FS: x-ecuter2 pro modchip for Xbox

I ordered a few to get a discount. I have two left over and they are $90CAD each. If you are not comfortable installing something like this yourself, we can arrange something. Here are the details on what it can do:

Email me at bendawe@netscape.net if you are interested.

Is it true that Xbox Live detects chips such as this and bans you forever? Not sure if it's a rumour or truth.

It is my understanding that Xbox Live will not work while a mod chip is active. You can put an external switch on it so you can disable the mod chip when you want to use Xbox Live. Haven't heard about the banning though... that would suck... lol.

I haven't used Live yet... some friends of mine get together once in a while and hook up two Xbox's and two LCD projectors. Wowsa... multiplayer Halo on a 80" screen kicks ***!

If you connect to X Box Live with a mod chip installed and not deactivated through a switch Live will record your serial number from the X Box and not allow you access ever.

Always, turn off the chip when you want to go live.

PS Ben you have an X Box?? I have one too. Not too many games yet though.

Wowsa!! How's that for virtual reality!
lol

Tony, that really sucks about the Xbox Live thing. I would be sooo pissed off if that happened. There are legitimate uses for the mod chip. I don't plan on getting Live anytime soon though... 2 projectors + 2 Xboxs = 4 player split screen madness. Who cares about playing people around the world when you can yell insults at the guy sitting next to you.

LT1Z28... what are you the master of? Getting owned? Come on over and let me watch you be the master of that.

And wow... Halo has to be the best console game I have ever played. I never bought a console because they never had anything that could touch games like HalfLife and UT. I bought my Xbox about a month ago from EB when they were giving away a free role playing game with every purchase of a Xbox Adrenaline Pack. I actually just beat Halo last night... haven't been playing it much lately. The last run to the finish line sure was fun. I think I finished with no shields and one health bar... hahah.

Haha... I am just teasing. I am OK at the game... not the greatest. I think I lose more than I win. Maybe now that I own the game and system that will change.

This is where I got my mod chips:
http://www.modchip.ca

Tony, I paid about $455 for 5 mod chips. I bought 5 to get a bit of a discount, so I am selling the remaining two that aren't spoken for. One has been snapped up already. I will be dropping an 80GB in my Xbox. It isn't going to cost me a thing for the drive becuase I am going to swap the smaller drive in my Xbox for the 80GB. If you were to buy the drive and mod chip, it would cost about $300 to do. That is the cost of about 4 games these days.

Hey Bennyboy, thanks for the link for the mod-chip for the PS2. Should I get the new magic 3.1 and how about the SE? I just want to download new games. Do you think installation is hard?
