well, we just had words, me and the old man...

here it is, its the latest model, the home theatre one, which means it has dobly digital 5.1 sound, where available

as far as ****, u have to sign up for the digital channels, as in this box gives u this feature, whereas u cannot get digital cable through a regular cable box

also, it gives u the pop up channel menu, which u dont have on regular cable..

hope this all makes sense, in a nutshell, it gives u the availablity of getting the digital channels from ur cable provider

also, this is in mint condition, my dad's really into his home theatre stuff...

thanks
ian

Hi Ian,

I am interested - but - I need a model number. I am looking for a digital box that supports HDTV (high definition).

Thanks,
Grant

The Bell satellite has over a dozen channels of adult entertainment. If you know someone who pirates the smart card the price is right.

possibly interested.

I have the digital box now but would perhaps want another one for the Media Room I have now.

However, as you say, they are almost free to get from Shaw. Let me think on it.
