POS !! Its gone again after the free fix . I think its putting too much of a load on the stupid gear . Goddamn gm engineering , this has been a problem for years and they couldnt fix the design

Just venting !!

Im just going to rip the ****ing gear right out until I get the brass ones and install those , I mostly just drive in the daytime anyways . Something is wrong if its striping them out so fast though
The one that always goes has tons of " slop " you can pull it up like an inch . junk
Anyone have a un opened broken window motor I could have ?? I was thinking I could install it and take it to the dealer and have them replace the entire assembly

Just trade it in for a Camaro SS... lol!
Sorry.
That is really frustrating. My wife and I have a daily commuting 240SX that is 11 years old and 230,000 kms on it with the roll up headlights. Knock on wood, we've only have trouble once with them 3 years ago, and I solved that with simply a little lubricant.
I wish I could offer some good help.

Hey Twitch, don't you have warranty left? I'd be down at the dealership pronto. I can't believe GM never fixed that problem. They should've gotten rid of those hide-away headlights years ago.

Im too lazy to remove all the nitrous stuff and I dnt want them seeng a open throttle switch or msd window switch and putting 2 and 2 together . I ll save warranty for the big stuff like tranny , motor
and rear
I did the unplug mod
and rear
I did the unplug mod
I wouldn't worry too much about a dealer figuring out what the window switch and WOT switch are for. I have not come across a dealer smart enough to know what was going on with their own parts, let alone some aftermarket ones.
