Freebie 4th gen f-body bits.

Hi all,

Hope everybody is doing well.

I got rid of my Firehawk quite some time ago and decided to clean out the spare bits from the garage:

T-top, passenger side iirc
Graphite t-top trim, both sides
T-top shades, both sides
New t-top lock cylinders, both sides

Pick up in Burnaby.

Hey, long time no see. Your black vert firehawk was one sweet machine and I was sad to see you sell it. One of my buddies wanted your hawk but he never had a chance to bid. Give me a call when the weather improves and you can get behind the wheel of mine for a cruise, take care.

1quickgt you can have it. I'll drop you private mail.

Drumhawk, boy would I love a ride in your Hawk! I miss my f-bods some days very much. I ended up selling mine for $36k so it wasn't bad though.

I moved onto a '90 celica turbo 4wd, so the torque is lacking but it makes up for it with 50/50 power and weight distribution. With torsen diffs the car was a blast doing laps in the snow this last week. Now I just have to figure out how to squeeze an LS1 in there.

Later,
TriOx

How are you doing Larry, do you have Geoff's e-mail address? I saw his name on the firehawk board and he lives in Poco like me. I like to know all the firehawk guys, there's only a few of us in the lower mainland area. Shoot me a pm please. I'd also like to know if you are going to race your new project car or attend any show n' shines in your hawk this year.

Triox, give me a call when the weather improves. Also that's a classy move giving away your firehawk odds and ends to guys on this board.

Hi Larry! I was pretty happy when Geoff bought it because I could tell he would keep it cherry. Mind you I was a little bummed when I saw the swirl marks in the paint at the Pontiac show in the summer. I used a brand new micro-fiber wash mit every time I washed it and there was no swirls when I sold it. I guess he isn't as picky as me.

Thanks Steve. Well I believe in karma. People helped me alot on this board so it only makes sense to give back to the community.

hehe, I'm already looking forward to the Pontiac show n' shine. Even if I'm just a viewer. Who knows, maybe I'll make it back with a GTO at some point.

Later,
Wes

Yep, I raced the TA twice last year, once in brutal heat, once in brutal rain! It's a little worse for wear due to some rice burners that can't corner like an F body...nothing major though. I expect to run the whole CACC series (4 weekends) this year, starting in April. One of those Firehawk guys you're talking about may be using it for race driver's school in March too! Have you seen the Calgary Firehawk get together talk on the FH site? I may not be able to go due to conflicts with race dates, both here and Edmonton, but I'm trying to get Mac to move the proposed date to the Canada Day weekend. I'll PM Geoff's email addy to you. Be cool

QUOTE] I don't start my holidays until July 2nd but I'm off till mid august. The timetable Maplehawk has for mid july sounds perfect with the start of the Calgary Stampede, gonna spend some time before and after in my second city Kelowna too. Hopefully you decide to skip a day of racing to attend this summer event, glad to hear Pat is planning the trip too. Driving back east for any Firehawkfest is just too far but count me in for sure for this Calgary event.
