the fire here in kelowna is getting crazy.i have been watching it every night from dilworth mountain but can see it from my balcony now.today i couldnt even see dilworth mountain from my house and its like a km away.i am on the other side of town from it i am like 15 kms from it.

 

damn, better move your f-body out of it's way.

I bought a fire extinguisher for the car just in case. You never know.

Some of the footage ive seen on the Kelowna fire is unbelievable. All the best to everyone over there. Im off to Penticton tomorrow to drop off a load of lumber. If anyone sees 82 feet of truck fleeing the area in a ball of flames, that will be me.

 

Yeah I got family up in Kelowna, not good. Also got my cuz and his family in Naramata there gonna be evacuating any minute. Scary ****. The kelowna fire is 5 times bigger today than it was yesterday.

If you had a whole house to evacuate and 1-2 hours max notice, what would you bring with you? (Other than your car obviously). Hope everything turns out ok .

 

I just heard on the news that it's grown by more than 5 times since yesterday!

 

Now that would be a cool site to see.

 

Good luck with everything Stevem - I was actually planning om coming to Kelowna this weekend to do some wine tasting and rent some ATV's, but my hotel called and told me the situation. Now I have to go to played-out-Whistler instead .

Its a shame to see such a beautiful Province get barbequed .
