I'm looking for a reputable exhaust shop in the Vancouver area to fabricate some 2.5" tubing from the stock manifolds (2" outlets), through an x-pipe, and to the mufflers (Dynomax or Magnaflows) using stock-style (down turned) tips. Mandrel, not crush bent. The Vette doesn't need cats, and is already set up for true duals from the factory, so no modification to anything such as the cross member is required. I don't care whether the x-pipe is fabricated or aftermarket. I prefer aluminized or non-polished stainless steel components.

I know this is a dirt simple job for any competent exhaust shop to perform, but as most of you know, even the simplest jobs cannot be taken for granted when we are as passionate about our cars as we are .

Aftermarket parts to accomplish the above costs approximately $600 CDN shipped, not including labour. If a shop can customize and install a comparable set up for a better price, I prefer that route.
