Dyno tuning Nitrous?
Dyno tuning Nitrous?
I'm not going the nitrous route, but I was wondering if anyone knows if Harvey does any tuning for Nitrous?
Reason I ask is because I referred a friend of mine to him about tuning, and Harvey told him he won't touch a car with Nitorus for tuning. Is this Harvey's policy?

From the looks of it, I don't see what "tuning" you are going to need. For most stock/close to stock cars, the manufacturer setups are pretty close, and don't really need to be messed with.
When you start dealing with numerous engine variables, and larger systems, the need for more precise tuning arises.
Beyond that, I'd prefer to tune at the track, as the load put on the tires/engine is significantly different then the real world at the track. The only true way to tune a nitrous combo is to read the plugs anyways, Widebands, EGTs, Factory 02s, are all a crap shoot.

Its no big deal JD - just curious mostly.
KTamez: in the case I was referring to (though I didn't get into details), the tuning was for a 200 shot on a not-so-stock 5.0 - I actually wasn't referring to myself (in case thats what you thougt).
Thanks for the feedback though.
