custom chip
#3
I have an EPROM burner, well, not right now, unfortunately, but I usually do.
I don't mind burning one or two chips for people. What I'd recommend is getting a Craig Moates adapter so you can keep your stock memcal intact.

can i use my stock chip to burn or do i need a new one.
and i dont know what specs i need for like timing, fuel ,etc
thats why i wanted some one who knows about this to do it for me like i found out that superchip used to do custom chips but the guy left and they havent got a replacement.
does anyone know what an at home burner hooked to my pc is worth and where i could get it.
TYA performance is sending my cam up this weekend so the time is coming soon to make it all work

what kind of car/year? I know I can do 93 F-bodies if I had access to an E-prom burner, also, you can use your stock chip, you just have to erase the prom(chip) the burner uses ultra violet rays, sometimes its a separate unit all together, than you just burn the new stuff on, there is a time limit for how long you can erase for, don't know that limit, but I assume its the same for any e-prom.
