When I got my curb rash I got so pissed I almost grabbed a duck by the neck and swung it around in the air like a fan. Then I realized "What's the point in being mad if it won't change anything?" Relax, and with time you will get the rim repaired/replaced.

Sorry hear about your scrape with the curb. I barely rubbed a tire turning into an end parking spot and my tire hit the curb ever so slightly but still left a small mark on my tire. It's never nice to see damage on your car but $108.00 to fix isn't all that bad. Imagine if the body and paint were scraped ! I hope they make your rim look new again.

I've dealt with Panther too; turnaround time was about a week, and if I recall correctly (this was a few years ago) it cost about $100 to polish & reclear one rim. Work was very good, rim looked brand new again. I recommend them.

Welcome to the real world of daily drivers!

Seriously, its a tough life to care for a car and drive it everywhere. Especially rock chips..

I'm thinking when spring rolls around again, I might just bring my car to a detail place and get it professionally cleaned in and out, and the rockchips fixedup, for the car's 5 year birthday..

If those rock chips are down through the paint you'll need more than a detail shop, you'll need a paint shop.
