ironically . the LS1 DOES have the slow switch .. and the guy forgot to turn it off when he tried to do a burnout ..

Hey does asr make your car slower.....even when you have full traction?

if its off.. then it does nothing

yeah thats what i thought....I think somebody before was argueing that it didn't use full power when it was selected,,,,,,but I think that was a c5....but i think they have some diffrent traction control

TCS will not do anything when it is on but you arent spinning. When you are spinning it will slow you down in attempts to make you stop spinning. If you can get traction FAST it'll help in the 1/4 - but usually it's left off.

I'd be more concerned with the vette's torque management system then TCS. They do have a different system and electronic suspension stuff, but the fbody just has a computer that puts the brakes on the rear wheels when you spin out
