What were the times today Gerry?

Umm.. lets see, 13.26@ 103.17

Congrats! Thats a 95 Caprice Station Wagon LT1 with small cc304 cam, DIY ported heads, mid length tube headers, under drive pulley, 2600 stall, & 4.10's. Hmm.. let me see, a heavy station wagon = watch out F-body guys!

street tires or slicks? what was the difference from this time to the last? what changes were made to improve the time? was it just weather?

Re: Congrats to 95Wagon & his track times!!!

Just the 4.10's, best last time was 13.46@100.X MPH with better weather then today. Also yes this is with slicks but the MPH is impressive for a big station wagon aswell. I would like to see another go 103.17 in the 1/4 mile & have over a 1000 pounds on an F-body.

Basicly tie a trailer to your firebird with stuff in it & run the track LOL.

Re: Congrats to 95Wagon & his track times!!!

Thanks guys

Matt , I "backed" the run up later with a 13.26@ 103.17
60's are fair at 1.86
Nicks 442 still can't get out of the hole but mustered a 12.8 @ 111
Try that with exhaust manifolds, stock intake,q-jet and near 4200 lbs.

Re: Congrats to 95Wagon & his track times!!!

Gerry's sleeper wagon is simply awesome!
The temps were still not great at 17-20*C and he managed great times.
Our last race together was real drag racing with Gerry beating me to the line by just under 3/100's of a second. He hooks hard and leaves you trying to catch him the whole 1/4. I always seem to involuntarily give him a 0.5-0.6 second head start due to his good reaction times and 60 fts and my lack of any.
It's all over by the 1/8 mile for most guys that are up against him. They never regain after that.
Way to go Gerry!

Nice times Gerry Congrats !

12.6@107mph in Perry's car Needs some tuning, horrible top end right now...and well if you launch at anything higher then 2000rpm it goes up in smoke

Re: Congrats to 95Wagon & his track times!!!

Nice times Gerry!!! You definately deserve them with the work and thought that has gone into the wagon.

One of these days you and I will line-up...I'm going to make one final push to get the car running properly and if that doesn't work, I give up until next year.

Andy

PS: I want to see a race between your 442 and the wagon....I'll drive the 442 for ya!
