clutch slipping slightly question

howdy all,

ok, my car, which has 70k kms on it has a slight, and i mean slight slipping clutch, when i absolutely gun it in 1st or 2nd, and only when its just started up

once the car heated up, i tried gunning it, and i think there was no slipping (hard to really tell, as my tires would spin a lot... but it seems fine)

also, when 1st started up, i gun it in 3rd and 4th, and no slipping...

so my question, is this just a bit whacky 'cuz of the weird for now cold spell, or is there gonna be a problem soon

p.s. my car has had many short trips (like <2 mins each, going to and from work) recently... just as an FYI

thanks for any help
ian
