CARR Chevrolet in Beaverton scratched up my truck during an oil change!
CARR Chevrolet in Beaverton scratched up my Avalanche during an oil change.. I noticed it AFTER I brought it home.. The claimed they didn't know they scratched it.. although I remember seeing them take a few tries to get it out of the bay. They buffed it out, but if you look real closely you can see some faint marks on the back fender. At this point, I think I'm just going to live with it and boycott CARR Chev, and tell everyone not to go there. I don't trust them anymore. The service manager was an a hole too. He tried feeding me some pompus line in a bastard voice like, "sir if we know had known, we would have told you.. we value our service on integrity" - while scratching his privates. nice..

That sucks to hear. If it were me, I would have raised holly hell and talked with the general manager or owner. But then again the only stealership to touch my vehicles is the one I bought them from in Idaho, where as I'm on a first name basis with the owner. JMO

Sorry to hear that.
Yeah, getting the GM, or the owner, really gets the ball rolling sometimes. I had to do that at Wentworth Chevy after they did some bogus repair to my Camaro years ago. I got one of the Wentworths. You should have seen his face when I showed him the problem. He lit into the shop manager. I never saw so many people take off so fast to get something done.
Never went back
Never used a dealer since (1988) except for the air pump recall on the T/A that was handled by Weston Pontiac. They did a good job.
