car shoppin advice.
Looks like a lot of Camero's out there. I'd wait and look around some more. For 13 grand you should be able to find a TA, more rare with better styling. I think the best time to buy a sports car is late in the summer.
Better deals and selection then. I'm not really looking cause I'm lucky enough to have a last of the breed hawk.
Talos, by the sound of your comments you're ready to buy the first decent 4th gen that comes your way. Sell your car first, and bargain real hard. Feel out the owner of the 4th gen to see how desperate he needs to unload it.
That way you'll have the best f-body for the money to enjoy for years to come.

Nice 93 bashing
No reason not to buy a 93 all parts fit except you don't have the MAF which has its advantages and dissadvantages. I don't tune mine but I've looked at the programs and it isn't that hard probably easiest just more of PITA because of the PROM which I have a Flashable so it is basically the same except I still have to take the chip out and burn it, burner was $95.
Any header from 93-95 can be made to fit easily, 93 are specific and should require no fab but the others work.
Look at the condition of the car, at this stage miles mean nothing when I was going to buy a 6spd I didn't because all the 55K mile cars were in worse shape than my 86K car!
If I could do it all over again with what I know I would probably get a 95. But if I had to choose between a excellent 93 or a good 95 I would be the 93 without hesitation!
