Angry Car Full Of ****ing Water !!

Yup , pass side full of water . Puddles . Dont know how , its never leaked before . Its coming in from both the front and the rear sail panel area . I HATE these ****ing cars some days But its not all bad . . . . gm provided little gromet corks that you can remove to let out all the water . Thats engineering at its finest Know wonder they stopped building these peices of **** !! Long live the fbody . .. whatever

Peices of **** !!!

Sh*tty Deal, but at least if you get thirsty you don't have to go too far. Just put some buckets in there to catch the drips Use the warranty and get them to seal that b*tch up.

I did an ls1.com search and got some good info . There are drain holes in the back by were the speaker holes are . Aparently they plug up and fill with water and then puke into the back seat . Ill check that out and the gromet by the firewall up front . I had a 4 guage power wire through there but its been removed . That seems to be a comon source so Ill seal it up . My babys all wet inside

i had the same problem with mine ...

water came in thru the hatch .. leaked behind the seatbelts.. leaked down to the rear buckets .. there are passages to the front .. and it would make its way up to the front

what u gotta do .. is take off some panels .. sit inside the car .. and get a buddy to hose down ur hatch and engine compartment .. then goto work with a plyer (yanking on the seal to make it stick up a bit .. to seal better around the hatch... the metal strip where the seal sits on) . and a healthy helping of silicone

mines been dry ever since i totally hacked it out and sealed every hole in it .. mine had 2 leaks up front .. and 1 major leak thru teh hatch

I'd be pissed too, sorry to hear about that. I'd want the carpet replaced by warranty for sure or I'd camp out with a sign like I did with my 95 TA from Carter. They had a sign that said, "trust Carter". My sign said "don't trust Carter. After standing on the corner of Willington and Lougheed talking to people stopped at the light all the salesmen where watching me. After an hour they called me in to the manager's office and they fixed my problem. My best advice is to not drive it in the rain and keep it in the garage.

Good idea . I might sell my nitrous kit and take it in for a **** load of warranty work . Every little squeek and rattle . For a brand new car Im not too happy .

Sorry to hear twitch, I assume working at a body shop you got the shop vac in there and sucked it all out? If not I suggest you do. I dont know if they use a tarpaper or felt for sound insulation on those but either way they dont really like water. mmake sure no drain holes are clogged too. Fix it ASAP. it really doesnt take long for rust to start

I don't think it could be much worse. Twitch has too disconnect his bottle and whatever other mods he's installed to get the warranty work. I drowned my 95 TA in the Okanagen Lake therefore rendering it totalled. This happened in 97 and I had a no depreciation insurance policy. I recieved every penny back including the taxes. The dealership will probably give Twitch a hard time, then try another dealership or do like me, get out the sign. I'd want the weatherstriping and carpet replaced for sure. Twitch, let me know when you give up the bottle, my hawk is thirsty.

Drum, I guess it depends on how much you like your car. I would still rather have a leak than sink her in the ocean. Deep sea diving in your car is a certain writeoff.

Bringing a new meaning to riding it hard and putting it away wet huh twitch? Again Ill suggest getting the leak found and fixed ASAP. But I guess youre a painter type so you can fix rust easy enough .
