Camaro wave?

Well since my husband owns a Corvette & they have their own wave while passing each other on the street. I was wondering why cant we have a small wave for the Camaro (or heck just call it the Fbody wave). Just a fast little peace sign (or what ever you seem fit) as you see another Camaro go by, with a fast friendly smile. (now boys keep it nice no one finger wave either )

I see alot of Camaros out in the area I live at & I always give a short friendly wave (of course I normally get the one finger wave back but who cares ).

So how about it anybody out there up to the challenge?

Oh for intrested readers here the information on the Corvette Wave

GTI owners are insane for this. I see GTI owners go nuts when they see eachother. I always get the thumbs up and honked at and everything!

Re: Camaro wave?

i'm surprised someone would finger u, how trashy is that???

owning a v6, i dont have the same kinda pride situation going on, although i do like my car, and she's good to me, but sometimes this old fella in a 98+ v6 camaro waves at me, he lives near ubc, so i see him often when i'm coming home... i always wave back, just to be polite.. but i wont go outta my way to start a wave, too risky, there's still too many jerks around

Re: Camaro wave?

I quite often get waves from fellow Camaro owners.
Especially from a guy bloke who drives a red 95ish V6 around my town.
I guess he thinks that because our cars are the same color that we are brothers.

I think it's nice to get a wave from other Camaro people.

Re: Camaro wave?

I always give a thumbs up to other Fbods, and like Dave said, Ill get a little more enthusiastic if I see another LS1.

BTW I saw a black WS6 absolutely FLYING westbound down Hwy 3 on Monday. I had a huge a$$ grin.

Re: Camaro wave?

Hey its great living on the west coast. Heck if you go in to the 5th gen forum on here you see all sort of reasons WHY NOT to wave, From its gay to its stupid.

So next time you are driving down the road & you see a fellow Camaro (fbody) lover throw them a friendly smile & a nice wave.

West coasters are the best

Re: Camaro wave?

I sometimes give a wave. Especially if its an SS and we're passing close and slow. I think it would be cool to show more of the brotherhood. Anyone that I know from the board I always try to wave. See a lot of these guys around. Trouble is, they are often going by too fast for me to wave...

I've had the odd wave from LS1 vette owners, which startles me when it happens.

Re: Camaro wave?

Like ChriSS said I get most of my waves from SS owners(LS1 SS's too) but I try and give every f-body I see the thumbs up. Most of the time other drivers dont notice and just keeps driving. What is he trying to concentrate on driving or something

Re: Camaro wave?

MOST ignore us or try to race us like we insulted them.

When the blue car is running the insults hurt them MUCH more then they hurt me
