Question calling all third gen's!

So I've got a question for anyone living on the west coast. Where can I find a ram air hood for my iroc. Lots of places back east make and sell but I would like to buy close to home if I could. That way I can see if it realy fits nice? Some where in B.C. would be even better, since the hole canadian dollor thing.... Any help would be great. That and im sick of my hood grill vibrating because of a mount being broken. So let me know if anyone knows? Thanks ... OOoo and hi all

I bought mine from American Sports Car Design. Fit like a glove on the first try.

The exchange rate is actually pretty good right now. Probably the best we've seen in years!!

I've got pictures in the sig....

hey thanks for the help. I need to know how to add things to my options like others have. I've just got a nice low km iroc thats on it's second owner. It's an 89 iroc stock 305, 5 speed, black on black, never been hit, 140,000km, stock. It just needs a little bit of money to bring it to the next level. Becides I wanted a car that looked as good as me or something like that. Becides it's getting to the point wheir it's rare to see a realy nice 3 gen. Theirs lots of crap, which is good for cheap parts, but when you go to a car show it's rare to see a nice one!

Well... if you don't mind the drive your more than welcome to come to my house and let me work on your car.

I've had mine for three years now and I pretty much know these third gens inside and out.

I just recieved the latest issue of "Chevy High Performance" and it has an article about a silver 91 Z28 with a Big Block Stinger hood - and damn does it ever look killer!!
I'm sad to say that hood looks much better on a 3rd gen than on a 4th gen ............

hey

it's realy hard for third gens right now. Their right at the wrong age. Their at an age where you need to spend lots of money for up keep and even more time to keep them up So unless your a fan it's hard to keep them in their proper condition. I'm on my third one and it's taken me three to get the right !!!! But that still dosn't meen I don't need to spend lots of money to get it where I want it! I'm planning for a three year project. Every thing from body work ( doors, dings, paint job) interior work, to of corse engin work! I want a 6 speed going to a nice sounding (borla's to be different) 400- 450 h/p engin. Not to much, not to little but a good sunday driver with a little reliability. I don't want to have to rebuild every three months Is that too much to ask? let me know?????

I totally agree with you, i think finding a good third gen is really hard, im on my second one right now and I dont know yet if im gonna keep it or sell it, but if i do keep it i wanna do all that work to make it look new again and plus a few things that didnt exactly come factory from GM

just ask ken(irocz383), he lucked out and got a third gen in great shape but every day that passes there are fewer and fewer third gens in good shape...

In this club I'd say theres maybe, at the most 6!

There are however a lot more around but not even half of them are worthy of even being called a Camaro.
