Red face C5R versus my 3rd gen TA

I lapped him at the WSC race yesterday, but going by him the second time I overcooked it and beat on his pass side door...damn Khumo 710s...never again, back to Hoosiers for me!
Yes, I need a new driver's side fender
Anyone got a good '82-'85 TA fender?

Too bad, I assume you have to repair the door on the CR5 too or is it every man for himself despite who's at fault at the track?

Nope. You sign a waiver to the effect that everything that happens at the track is your own problem...no insurance, no whining, nobody to pay the bills but you...
I'm just painting my replacement fender, and I'll be all set to do it again in 3 weeks...

Wow..........that sucks.

That waiver sure saved you, and bit him in the ***.

Re: C5R versus my 3rd gen TA

Racing, like life, isn't necessarily fair...

I should mention that my cars have been hit so many times I've lost count, and this is the first time I've hit anyone in 7 years of road racing. The driver of the C5R assumed there was enough racing room when he turned into the corner and I kept coming. He assumed I had left enough margin to make the pass safely, because he knows I don't play rough out there, but he and I were both surprised when I couldn't make it stick and turn. This was my first and last race on Khumo V710 race tires.
