Re: c5 vs. slightly modded lt-1

From a stop it would depend on who hooked better, it would be close but C5 would win in the top end, on the highway from a roll i say the c5 would when through and through.......speaking from experience, jazz beat me in his c5 by a couple of car lengths, he's got B&B Exhaust and a VeraRam Intake and he pulled away.....

With equal drivers the C5 will win no question.

Re: c5 vs. slightly modded lt-1

I had a few goes with a stock vert auto C5 last summer.

The only place that I could keep up (and actually be a little ahead) was from a stop up to 80K or so.......and then it handed me my *** everytime.

We went from a freeway roll for fun too - that was extremely disapointing for me.......previous to that I thought I had a sorta fast car.

Re: c5 vs. slightly modded lt-1

You'll need that TC for sure. He won't be the lightest ls1 out there with that set up, but he'll still pull hard. But with a good set of headers, you won't be too far off his hp. With the TC, and some good tires, you could embarass him and make him play catch up. Just don't go into it cocky - let him underestimate you, not the other way around.
