hey guys, have any of you bought a car outside of BC?

im thinking of doing that, but the thing with it, is that you don't know the history of the vehicle.. and stuff like that.

so what do i need to know before i buy a car outside of bc?

I bought my ride in Calgary. The paper work was a small pain in the *** for sure. First find an notery?/insurance place that can deal with the title change. Once the title of the car is signed over(which takes 2 seconds), you have to call an insurance company/motor vehical branch back in BC, they will fax that info back to Calgary and then Calgary will give you a point A to B permit. Have some phone numbers ready AHEAD of time to save yourself some stress.......I didnt. Good luck.

or did you go there.. testdrive it..and then bought it?

i guess you got it checked out by a mechanic there too right?
