Cool Bought my wheels today!!!

They wont be here for a while though cause they are a custom size for American Racing

18x10 Torque thrust II's

now i need to decide on what tires to get and i have narrowed it down to Kumho Ecsta MX's or Yokohama AVS sports.
anybody have anything bad or good to say about either of those tires like how good they wear and wet traction?

it was either 18x10 or 18x8 on the front so i went with 18x10.

I agree. It will definitely be a handful...IMO go with the 18 x 8's...but congrats on the purchase .

I had the AVS sports and was pleased overall, though I admit I never used them for any drag racing.

May wanna ask Johnny as he now owns the same set as I had, and has probably put more miles on them then I did.

Thumbs up

I have the AVS sports, overall a very nice tire The tread pattern is a little different. Although they aren't the greatest in the rain they are fairly good. I haven't run them at the track yet so I don't know how they will do in that respect. Although for the full throttle launches i have done on the street they are fairly good for traction. Although I don't have that much power to be burning up 315's I would definately recommend these tires
