BBK Makes good quality stuff . . . . . Those bbk's look the same as the Edelbrock headers for the same application . I think Edelbrock owns bbk now , even the Edelbrock / BBK Throttle bodies sold by both companies have the shared nameplate now .

Don't bother buying the chrome headers.. It's not worth it. Edlebrock and BBK do make the same stuff, and if that price is canadian then it's pretty good. You'r better off gong for the coated ones. The chrome will start changing rainbow colors whithin a week of driving it. I regret buying mine.. I would have rather spent extra dollars on ceramic coated ones because the chrome doesn't make the engine look better after they've been affected by the heat and start turning gold/brown. Just my opinion but I wouldn't buy those, so send the extra dollarsand get the long tubes or the ceramic coated. However, if your not worried about looks, I found the power gain pretty good, so I wouldn' t knock them for performance

I heard of Y-pipe fittment issues with them, plus the price is pretty high considering that they don't come wtih a Y=pipe do they? Plus its USD.

He just said includes CHROME Y-PIPE but like you guys told me when I wanted to buy them, few hours into driving and they won't be chrome anymore.

If you are going to buy 1 5/8 headers buy Mac

1 3/4 buy SLP's or AS&M's

Other option of course is Hooker LT's or FLP's

Doc, check with Perry how he like's his FLP's...there a pretty penny but a damn good performer...worth every penny IMO...1150.00 tax in...by the time you get a set up with SLP or otherwise by the time you get the y-pipe, cats etc..it's all the same price...BTW, your PHB will be here in 2 days..I'll pick it up and give ya a call..please pm me your #;

Thanks;

Mike

BBK's are horrible to work on, install, change plugs, The fitment on installing them is not too fun either. If it was my choice i would get a set of hookers, and y pipe. Or AS&M's. The cost is a lil bit more but well worth it IMO of course. I have heard good things of the Mac's as well but never ran them so can't say. I have only taken a set off once.
