Unhappy BAD news!

Well guys.....what I have to tell you isn't good news.

On Friday night, I was on my way down to Seymour's Pub and I had a little fender bender. What happened was, I was merging on to Highway 1 at the top of the Cut in North Van at about 12am and as I was putting the power down and lost control. The end result was me spinning across 2 lanes and hitting the center divider with the passenger side of the car. The impact took off my front right wheel right off,(the rotor gave way-nothing else) messed up my fender, dented quarter panel, and ground down a hoe in the rear bumper. Believe me, I'm not impressed with myself and can now understand why people don't drive these cars in the winter!

I'm planning to fix it myself, so I hope you guys might be able to help source some parts for me.

What I think I will need:

Front right fender
1, maybe 2 wheels
rear bumper
right side skirt
front nose cone (maybe)
one front rotor
donated/inexpensive body work
probably more

I'm not sure what else I will need because the estimator hasn't gotten back to me yet, but I hope thats it.

I hope you guys don't have to go through this...it sucks

Andy

Anyway... good luck...

Sorry to hear man, I hope you find everything you need to get her up and running again cuz some challenges await you.

If ya need a hand with slapping some of that stuff on give me a shout, I had to "adjust" a fender and sideskirt once.

Not the time to be bugging me my friend...don't think this couldn't happen to anyone of us. Comming home from Penticton for you? Anyone who has lost their licence twice shouldn't talk

but then again.. I don't know if I want to race him anymore.. cause you never know, he might put down TOO MUCH POWER and spin into me!?!?!?!?

Even though I'll be way ahead... I'm still worried!

I have a back bumper left fs but its not a TA one its a firebird one . How badly damaged are the front and rear facias ?? How bad is the quarter hit ?? wrinkles / ripples or just punched in ?? Any pictures you can post ?? Heres my plan of attack if it were me .I would first start by locating your steering and susp. components and getting it alligned making sure nothing is bent then move to the cosmetics . Terrible luck man , I know first hand how easy it is to lose the *** end in one of these cars . Pm me if you have ANY questions about how to go about anything .
