that was the lamest comeback dude, my dead great gramma could've come up with something better .. its ok i wasnt talking to u anyway, mustangs are excused due to the "fall apart" factor

shaun, we got videos of the house party to prove it too however I wouldn't recommend showing up half drunk, 3/4 hungover and totally tierd to autox .. for some reason I DNFed a lot

That doen't make any sence at all. How can a dead person even make a comeback?

FYI: I don't drive a mustang and the capri is set for auto x. If you guys do auto x out here again I go.

Ahh Well the party did got to 4.30 and I'm 40 now so getting up at 7.00 AM just isn't going to happen. I did wake up at 9.00 AM but I don't think I was fit to drive even then.

Lol! Geez Shaun, you lasted about 4 hours longer than me.

I'm always thining about the AX stuff, and I'll have to try it sometime. I figure it would completely suck with my TC though. It would lock and unlock every 10 secs or less, which isn't good. Doesn't hold at a specific rpm band when you apply the brakes.

Gas on - jump to 4000+ rpm.
Touch brakes at corner - drop to 600 rpm
Gas on - back to 4000.
Brake on - back to 600.

Cant you shut you TC off Chriss? I always turn mine off and if I couldnt, I would find a way to disengage it permenently.

Not talking about TCS, but the nature of my TC (torque convertor).

When you accelerate, it climbs into the rpms faster than stock. As soon as you tap the brakes (even lightly), the rpms will drop to 6-800 rpm - and as soon as you apply throttle again, it bumps up to 3500+, depending on your speed and Throttle position. It would be hard on the tranny, engine, and brakes now that I think about it. Much harder than with a stock TC.

Essentially, the TC locking up, then flashing.

You would have to watch your trans temp guage. If the temp stays down low enough you should be fine as long as the TC doesnt hit really hard. The short runs shoulnt make too much heat. Traction will be an issue though . Could always borrow Sandys car . With a few mods those will corner well.
