Hey guys, anyway to get the salt off without ending up freezing the car up solid? Last thing I need is a camaro ice sculpture but the car is nasty dirty. My carport is white from the salt that dripped off it . BTW its got new paint which is the only reason why I care. Somehow I think its gonna have to wait till it warms up a bit.

use a leaf blower to dry it off and wash it in the sun. the heat from the sun on the paint may be enough to stop the water from freezing.

I was speeding down the road & I saw a dog pee, I ran over that $hit & pulled the ebrake & cornered off the road in the coolest manner possible, I put the tunes on full blast, came out squinting & shaking my head up & down to the beat, I then started dancing ROBOT from the knowledge that I had about PEE in general, I knew that $hit has salt in it, so I danced & did a moon walk to the tire that hit the PEE, I moonwalked to get gasoline out of the back & washed the rear tire with the PEE & frame around it while still squinting & doing the moonwalk, I put the gas back in the car. I drove off & represented with my 2 finger "PEACE BEA$CH" & drove off sideways nodding, cuz I"m So smart!

My name is Cory

Jk.

You wish Matt. Maybe then you would have something better to do than type recondite messages.

Anyhow, hopefully it will warm up soon. I also dont want to make my driveway into a ice rink.

Cory, are you driving your f-body with new paint in this weather? Do you have a garage? If I was you I'd wash my car with warm water, use a small pressure washer if you can get one and dry it any way you can quickly. I use the Toro turbo leaf blower at 225, full power. Then after it snows again tuesday, repeat process daily, j/k

No garage, but it has taken over my dads carport .
No leaf blower and Ive loaned my compressor to some guy. Yes, new paint on the camaro, but it probably wont hurt to make it look a little more weathered before trying to sell it. When its clean(er) I will post some pics.

Good luck selling it. That's why you don't mind driving it in the snow. What's your next project Cory?

If you could get your car over to my place, you could wash it in the underground... good luck getting here though.
