Anyone willing to help with plugs?

Hey guys... I'm heading up to Penticton this Aug long weekend for about a week. Unfortunately, I have to work on friday (morning) so I can't go up with Houman & Musky.

Just wondering if anyone local would be willing to help me out. I'd love to do the work myself, but I've only owned my car for 3 months now, and wouldn't know where to start with my LT1. If there's anyone out there that wouldn't mind helping, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Also, 93formula... check your PM's. I'm wondering if and when I could have my car dyno'd.

Re: Anyone willing to help with plugs?

Funny you should mention plugs..........I have to do mine in my 98 Blazer this weekend.
They are nearly as bad as the LT1 I hear.
I'm sectioning 4 hours to do them - I expect they shouldn't take quite that long.

If you don't get anyone with some experience to help you, make sure you reserve enough time to do them - I'd say 5 hours should suffice.....much like me, you'll likely get them done earlier but.......you never know.

Good Luck!
LT1 plugs suck donkey dick!

email sent

there easy to do but very time consuming and a lot of swearign and scrapped knuckles involved. some you get from up top and some from below. do a search on lt1 tech to find out which ones you get from up top and which ones from below, and make sure you have some differnet types of rachets and wrenches handy. some people can get em all from up top, but that would require some experience. good luck. for a price im sure someone here will be willing to help.

its not really the plugs that are the problem replacing. i got all mine out from the top, it is the wires that are a pain in the ***. set aside half a day

With the BMR K-member and Pacesetter Long Tubes installed I can do my plugs in 20mins max

It is not too bad with the stock stuff, like Roy said just some scraped knuckles and a lot of swearing. It will take you a couple of hrs

Re: Anyone willing to help with plugs?

when is amit comin by? I'd love to join! I've been wanting to do my springs too, so I wouldn't mind watching/lending a hand.

PS: I only have access to the net at a friend's for the time being. Gimme a call if you guys are getting together soon. I would greatly appreciate the help.

Most likeley next weekend sometime really depends on Amit as he's so busy with work during the day and pimping all his hoes at night . . . . probably sunday-ish.

Ill give you a ring when we know for sure.
