anyone want cheaper insurance???
awhile back, my car was broken into, and they tried to steal it... I'm finally getting around to having icbc fix it...
When I took it in for an estimate, we discussed how the chip in my key was the only thing that stopped them from stealing the entire car...
The dude said, oh! If thats the case, your entitled to a discount on having to pay your deductible! 100 bux off!! Very nice!!
So then I thought, well, shouldn't my over-all insurance be cheaper? Sure enough, i just got back from the insurance broker, and I ahve a refund coming in the mail!!!
Because we have a immoblizer, we're entitled to a 9% discount on the theft portion of our insurance
What that comes out to? A whopping 36 dollars on my full year of insurance, hehehe... but hey, its cheaper
I'm surprised that the broker computers don't flag this automatically, as it comes stock on our cars, but it seems not. Now i'm going to call icbc and look for retroactive pay...

Yes most of us already have that discount LOL can't believe you were paying for it all this time.
When they tried to steal my 93 Trans AM I had, that is also the only thing that stopped them from stealing the whoel car. The retards thinking it's a FORD "I mean 93 can't be advanced", broke the whoel steering columb and got to move the cylinder, well, that didn't help any.
So the idiots try to steel the wheels later, hahaha I had the sweet 5 spoke WS6 ones with the black covers, so retards though of taking them off. This was a 2 man job because they got about 2-3 plastic ones off and got to the lock which also was hiding behind the plastic cap. So the morons obviously thought it would be an easy job, try to steal the whole thing or worse comes to worse just bring a 3/4" socket/ratchet device to take the wheels off. All of which failed.
I didn't pay the deductable
