I've dealt with Phillip Reddy at Fasttoys a fair bit before and he's cool. I'd be in on the GP but I already have the TA studs combined with the SLP ported girdle.

Here's the skinny...

Fast Toys will not be able to help us on a T/A cover but he is able to hook us up with a Mac cover, the same as a T/a cover but cheaper in price not quality...this is a quote from Fast Toys, and IMO I think it's a great deal...as for quality and value you can't go wrong..

Mike,

Unfortunately, I don't have a digital picture.
They look exactly like the TA
covers except they have no writing on them. They
are made of 356 T6 aluminum
and have the two grade 8 support bolts to prevent
the main bearing caps from
moving.

If we received 6 or more orders, we could sell
these for 116.00 each +
shipping.

...please let me know;

Mike

Well I was doing a search tonight and came across this thread. I know I don't really belong in the northwest section at all BUT this looks like a great deal. Is there anyway I could get in on this action

BTW, is that 116 with the stud kit?

Thanks

Hey guys just to let you know, I was at Mopac yesterday and James had a TA girdle there, he said $235cdn for it. I'm not sure how much more he would give off if you bought a few but it is worth a shot to see

..an alright price, but once you add all our taxes and the stud kit it's not worth it here's the math:

for the Mac in cdn. with studs - 201.23 shipped tax in
for the T/A converted into usd. - 154.00 tax in plus 19.09 for stud kit

...keep in mind the cover's will be shipped from Fast Toys in Canada

....thanks anyway Johnny;

Mike

Just talked to James at Mopac...

Price Per T/A Cover if 6 Or More $226.49 + Stud $33.37 = $297.59 Tax IN...

US PRICE
145.47 + 21.43 = 191.10 USD Tax IN + shipping.

so, thats what it would be from mopac..

just giving you guys options...

Is the mack one as good as the TA? For the difference of about $40 usd I'm guessing there is a difference. (no stud kit..why not?) If there isn't...I'm in...

..there isn't much difference between the two, there are grade 8 studs included with the Mac, so for 210.00 shipped cdn to your door or go for the T/A from Mopac 300.00 or so...either way I want the Mac, anyone else?

...thank you Houman for checking in for us
