Question

Does the Stud Kit from the T/A kit work with the Mac??
if no is there something else that will keep the bearing caps from walking in the housing, or is this not that much of a worry?

Yes, the bearing caps walking is the main concern.. that's why I'm buying this unit. From what I understand this kit basically comes with the studs already built in... you don't buy the studs seperatly like you do with the T/A (they probably sell them seperatly to make the cover seem cheaper than it really is).

Look at the link to a picture of someones mac cover.. it's at the bottom of the previous page. You can see the two studs plainly..

Doc, the Mac includes a stud kit, but they only use 2 grade 8 bolts..and Lost it won't be a problem

..so that's 4 total for now
