easy if you got a t5, a little harder if you dont, but still doable.

The swap is easy!! The only hard part is swaping the pedals. Everything else is a walk in the park. Keep in mind you still need to have a cross member modified or made.

Actually the pedals where the easy part

However you may want to reinforce where they mount up. The car i did started having issues with the back firewall flexing due to the fact that it wasnt reinforced as it is in a 6 speed car. All in all the swap is pretty straight forward and if you have the patience know one should be able to tell that the car was anything but a 6 speed. All you need are simple tools a sawzall is a must and some simple wiring and you are done

lol... I never thought I'd hear a guy of your size say that swaping out the pedals were easy. I'm definatly not as big as you and I had a hell of a time craming myself under the dash and getting my arms up in there to get to everything.

its easy if you go in upside down on your back and you do everything upside down. your kinda in a bridged postion. or you can always unbolt the drivers side seat, only takes a few minutes.

i didnt say it didnt hurt
I basically shove my heads down by the pedals and hang up side down with my feet on the headrest of the seat
dont do this too long it gives you a vey very bad headache

But just the work of the pedal mounting is really straigt forward the clips to release the pushrods for the pedals is the hardest part after that everything lines up nicely a simple hole in the firewall with a holesaw for the clutch master and you are done other then that all the bolt holes line up on a 4th gen.

yeah... thats how I did mine too.

The only thing was the holes on the new pedals were too small to accept the bolts from my car. I had to try them for fit a couple times before I got it perfect. Thats the only reason I say it was the only hard part. Even though it wasn't all that hard.

Oh.. and the other bad part was I measured up the shifter to cut the hole in the trany tunnel. After I bolt it up, i find out the motor wasn't installed perfectly squared from the factory. The tailhousing sat to the right about an inch off from my measurments.
