Yeah if you have a really worn Gm key it can work somewhat like a master key on alot of older cars . . . worth a shot .

Most of its pretty easy. Door locks you just gotta take off the door panels. Trunk you will either have to take out the back seats (good time to look for a build sheet) and using a long something unlatch the trunk or drill the lock out. The ign you *need* the key for to remove it. Try another GM key and hope your tumblers are stuck. Otherwise Im gonna tell you to drill it out. Or, you might be able to find a key # on the cylinders and then take that to a locksmith or GM and get another key. Pull a door lock out since its easiest before you do anything else. I dont remember if its on them though.

thanks i may do it that way cory, but i did call a locksmith and for 125 theyll rekey all the locks so it may be worht it to not go through the hassle of drilling and disasembling things, ill think about it.

hi

At some point or the other, every individual will find the need for a locksmith. Interestingly enough, a locksmith was called a locksmith early on as they were blacksmiths who actually also made keys.
