Stock Muffler GMPartsdirect

I ordered a new muffler from GMPD.

Mine has soft spots after 90k miles, I figured that it didn't have much longer to live.

P/N: 10289836
$132.00 + about 20% shipping and handling.

It isn't quite as nice as the orginal. Bends are a little more roughly made. Muffler looks ok. I checked and a magnet sticks to the old muffler and the new one. I thought it was supposed to be S.S. some S.S. is magnetic but most of it isn't not sure what to make of it.

Check out how the shipped it. They just stuck tags to the top of the muffler and handed it to UPS. No box-Nothing!!!!

I could not believe it. It was a little beat up but good enough I guess.

I have also orded a Carsound 93444 OEM fit 3" S.S. y-pipe & cat for $199.00. That is $100.00 cheaper than the same deal at Tbyrne. I ordered from expressdistributing.com. Like 13.00 shipping. I haven't seen it yet, I hope th packing is better.

Later
