Anyone have a Comp R' lifter?

One of mine is busted so I'm getting a new one from Mopac under warranty as I understand, or I'll have to pay $20 but it'll also take a week to get in, my car is apart right now & I'd like to have someone's Comp R lifter & I'll have one for you in one week, a brand new one.

Thanx anyone help!

Had it happen to one of the cars i have worked on also. Dont know why it did however it did. The clip spring ball and capp all ended up in the pan.
But it was sure nice seeing all the pieces down there and not somewhere else

What happened to the lifter had nothing to do with how big the spring was, as a matter of fact the stronger the spring the less chance this would happen, this is caused from the lifter hydraulics pumping up from oil pressure & eventually the clip that keeps it from comming apart just gives up, a stronger spring helps the clip from giving up, the hydra rev kit kept all the parts from ending up somewhere else cuz the lifter is engolfed in the hydra rev spring, the hydra rev also keeps the lifters from damaging anything even when it fails because it exerts force on the body not the pluger area, so it saved the day.

What I need now is a spare lifter!!! anyone????????

By the way, I made 413RWHP uncorrected & 397 corrected with a F*cked lifter!

Yeah sorry I don't exactly like to hold things up because of one lifter which should be pretty darn NEW.

Everytime I buy something new it always fails, first a valve spring, now a lifter, & no the lifter wasn't driving that valve spring. Buying things used I think will make me feel safer from now on, except well I'd never feel good about buying used lifters just cause.

Well looks like it might go into next week but atleast this way I'm getting the thing for free, & its not like anyone around has one Comp R' lifter they'd sell so Mopac is getting one in either this friday or most likely next week.

So thats cool that they're standing by their service.

I'll be real surprised if Mopac gets it in in time. Everytime I've dealt with them or know of someone whos dealt with them. they take forever getting stuff in. Good luck though, and stay on top of them.
