Any Canadians have Bilstiens for sale?
Just wondering if anyone has a set(4) of bilstien shocks and struts for a 4th gen. I'd like to buy new but if I find a set already in Canada, I'd probably buy them. Please let me know what you have. Also, if you have a set of comparable shocks and struts, let me know.
Thanks for reading,
Tyler

Ohh, sorry, I thought that the front had struts. I guess they're just coil over shocks on the front. I'm just looking for a set of shocks to use with my eibach sportlines. Anything's better than the factory shocks!
Thanks

www.bimmerparts.com sells the complete set for $304.64U.S. . That seems like a good deal. Can anyone running the Bilstiens and either the pro-kit or sportlines give me some feedback on how theses shocks perform? I'm very interested in buying these but how much of a difference will these make compared to the factory "carbon" shocks? I'm also installing BMR tubular SFC's, LCA's, LCA relocation brackets, adjustable panhard bar and eibach springs. Do you think all of these suspension mods will really tighten up my car?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I'm not sure on the shocks but the suspension mods you have list will be noticed for sure, you will feel the improved handling and traction for sure. I have all those suspension mods done, less the Pan Hard and Springs (Botth are sitting the garage though) Although i didn mine one at a time and felt each one Doing them all at once will definately give the car a new feel. It will definately tightent he car up

94Zman,
Thanks for recommending www.Bimmerparts.com. I just got a quote from them and the Bilstien HD's cost $165 for the front set, and $135 for the rears, and they include free shipping! I think I'm going to buy them for that price, $300 shipped, but would like some opinions from people running Bilstiens on how they perform.
Thanks

I've got SLP bilsteins and sportlines on my 95z.I only scrape on really big speed bumps but that is partly due to my offroad pipe flange. The car definitely handles better and has a nice stance. The real bilsteins are even better than my SLP units. If I were to do it again, I would go with re-valved bilsteins from someone like Sam Strano and progressive rate springs. Actually I would just buy Hal's but I want to drag race/autocross my car. It all depends on what you want your car to do. If you just want a nice handling street cruiser with a nice stance then a setup like mine is fine.
