HAHAHAHAHA there is JAPANESE Engineering for YA! I've never ever seen a stock LT1 blow up, thats called junk! Now I"m sorry but Over rev a stock motor with a rev limiter? Obviously it had to be stock judging by the looks of the car (stock body, first thing ricer mods) so obviously hahahaha, sorry, obviously the motor didn't over rev just broke from being built like $hit 
Ps. He droped it into second gear? Hmm..... should not go into 2nd if its so high to blow a motor

He was in 5th at 7000 rpms and tried to downshift to 4th, hit 2nd instead. You're telling me an LT1 would not blow up if it hit what, about 16k rpms? Go on, try it!That's the problem with the 6-speed RSX transmissions, the gates are VERY close... I've heard of numerous people hitting the wrong gear and blowing them up already.
