All this talk about sellin cars etc has got me thinking.
I only work Part Time, still do payments on the car, insruance, gas, etc it all adds up
and it really sucks
hard to have fun if that makes sense!
I honestly love my car, but man its costing me a lot!
I need some money, im blowing all my savings i've had on the thing
which is not good.
I want to get a full time job but its hard finding an employer which pays more then 9 bucks an hour

Not really,what are your qualifications? The jobs are there, you just have to pound the pavement and be aggressive about it. Ask Kal, he's 18 and making really good money. You just have to network with people and keep your options open.

 

there ar elots of places where you make more then 9 bucks an hour but they are mostly mills and there is no job security. i thought i had a little bit of job secutrity, i work at scott paper, and we have never had down time unless it was a strike and the last one of those was like 20 year s ago. but now i find out in june we might be getting laid off for 2 weeks, but it might be just a rumour hopefully. anyways it is all in who you know, my dad and brother in law work at scott and got me on there and i mae 24 an hr with just a highschool education. it is a crappy job though and im starting to hate it more and more wishing i had gone back to school. anyways just complaining

 

It's easy, as long as you work at it (finding a job) For example, I valet while I'm at school and make $8per hr...plus tips ($100-$250 per night for an average week-end) I get paid to work at pimp locations, see all of Vancouver's hottest women, meet famous people and drive the NICEST CARS around! Get a job where you make tips or get an education, inorder get that awsome job/career...I'm doing both.

i go to school full time i just took the summer of this semester
its hard to find a full time job cuz i need to go to part time most likely in the fall(septemeber)
i live in langley and drive to chilliwack to work
ANy suggestions or jobs you guys kno that are available

 

its just starting to **** me off that i have no money really for myself

hey welcome to the club........I spend out about 1/4 of what I make on my car......just think of it as house payments for now....Im pretty sure your still living at home

 

more than 9 bux an hour??? i work wit 30 year olds in a corporate office, we all get salary, which when calculated works out to very well above 9 bux an hour.. and im 19.. been here since age 17, no qualifications, just persistance and friendly attitude towards finding a great job....

ollie....I know that almost all the golf courses are hireing people for gras cutting and such.........I think thats about 15 dollar an hour job......just another option

LMAO u only spend more than half of what u make on that car ?? i spend MORE than i made or make when i have a job on the car yeah i got problems ... i know others in the same boat as me ... its worse than a cocaine addiction... at least lines of cocaine are cheaper
