acura integra gsr?

okay i am not too versed on rice, but yesterday i was cruising with my buddy who has a Mercedes Benz SL500 2 seater sports car.. and we are at a red light, all of the sudden this ****ing azn kid who always revs at me pulls up in his riced out acura integra gsr and he has rice can and wing and stickers.. anyways i tell my buddy rev at the guy.. so we rev at him, and rev some more he looks over and sees the car and quickly pretends he never looked... LOL

light turn greens my buddy just punches it, and we take off and leave him in the dust... gotta love the SL500!!!

damn rice bitch didnt dare race the benz

They come wiht like, 170 hp from the factory, something like that. They're also lighter than my 2800 pound car. Yet I smoked one at a red light one day

GSRs are 180hp and 130ft-lbs of torque, redlines at 8k rpm... 1.8L engine... not too much for a big heavy car like that :P They'll run mid-to-high 15s stock if the driver knows what he's doing. Type Rs will easily run into the mid to high 14s, for comparison (shorter gearing, viscous LSD, lighter, more power, higher redline).

If anyone sees one lying around I'm really looking for a GSR shortblock hard right now... please LMK if you see one!

hey raene if you are looking for a b18c motor cheak out this place in richmond, it's called jk japanese auto parts. Back when my brother had his 1990 integra they quoted him $3500 for a complete b18c motor and a gsr auto lsd tranny (very rare) from japan. if you just need the block i'am sure it will be cheap
try this

Gti guys are just as bad and always wanna race too . I got lined up with a vw gti , guy had 2 guages on his a pillar but said he had no mods . Im cruising to work and this guy is totally pacing me and looking over so I drop a gear into second and wait for him to go it I hear some noise from that direction indicating he has mashed the accelorator and dust him bigtime . Anyways we caught the next red and went from a dig and I hurt him bad All with the ac still on

Thanks for the info

Twitch, what did you expect? Really... smoking someone that runs probably 2s slower in the 1/4 mile... He probably didn't think he was going to win; he just wanted to hear your engine!
