I would guess an easy 20K USD for that puppy. Freaking awesome numbers though....400 rwtq at 2K rpm.

Nothing thats concreate just speculation of an NA 427 with 3 valve heads that will slide right in with minor mods. Id be happy with a C5R block but the cheapest I found was 5500 usd bare block .

Here are some cool ls6 vs Ls2 dyno's though

At the rate gm is moving these engines along , the 427 ( if they build it ) in the new zo6 will kick some serious ***. I dont see why they dodnt just use the c5r block they have now . . . .then maybe we can pick one up cheep

Thx man, I hadnt heard or read anything about it before so the speculation part makes sense. I would love to have a 427ci, but too many of these are dropping sleeves and not holding together.

Hmmmmmm that makes sense. A 427 would be the ****. It will be interesting to see whats going to happen over the next 8-9 months with all the aftermarket goodies going on.

For the 2005 SSR, the Vortec 6000 6.0-liter Gen IV small-block develops 390 hp at 5400 rpm and 405 lb.-ft. of torque at 4400 rpm. The SSR's Vortec 6000 6.0-liter LS2 is backed by a standard Hydra-Matic 4L65-E four-speed automatic transmission, or new for 2005, a Tremec M10 six-speed manual.
