I don't think anyone should have to pay extra because someone feels like cheating them and making a killer profit (or even a good profit)

Not that i'm saying this dude is trying to cheat someone, but I agree with everyone else thats here, if it doesn't seem like a fair deal, tell the world!!

Everyone should be entitled to fair deals, and just because they don't know any better, shouldn't mean they get suckered...

And while most people that don't know any better, do have 'sucker' written across their foreheads, if people weren't looking for these people/suckers to off load they're stuff to, this world would be a better place

Come on guys, its a freaking asking price. No one is gunna come straight out when they sell their car with the actual selling price.

Don't tell me that any of you would come on here when selling your car and list the minimum price you would accept. I have seen plenty of cars put up for sale on this very forum that wouldn't sell for the price that was asked, and I didn't see anyone jumping all over them.

And if you guys haven't inspected the car lately, I hardly think any of you are in a position to determine it's worth. In fact doing so without just cause could have legal ramifications.

Now if someone here had proof of a legitmate deficiency in the car that the seller wasn't being open about, that is a different story. Otherwise give the guy a break and let him worry about selling it.

Right on Sleeper , I just was looking at the same thing in the buy and sell . Id say more like 26 000 ++ for a MINT 98 SS Vert with fair K's from what Ive seen . . . . if they were that cheap I would have kept my mustang and picked one up to play with when I checked lease price on my 02 ws6 the buyback in three years was almost 27 000 $$

US Black book '93 Transam;

trade in; $4180us
retail, clean; $7550us
average retail; $5800us

Gold book, current, BC area, for a '95 Z28 ( knock another 30% or so off these figures )

wholesale $9450c
retail $11850c

It really depends on the market demand and your need for $$$, a dealer would unlikely let it go for less than $10K IMO

Business is business, and our capitalist economy allows us profit from those that allow it. That being said, it is unethical to cheat someone, or allow someone to be cheated. If Ewan was overpricing his vehicle, objective criticisms are more than welcomed, BUT I have seen and driven in Bunker's old car, and I can vouch for it's cleanliness, condition and overall worth.

In my opinion, $10K CDN is a very fair asking price for that car, UNLESS there are undisclosed factors.

Just my 2 pennies .

Good luck to the buyer and seller.
