I have the stock 16x8" chrome wheels on my car right now, with the original 245/50ZR-16 tires, and they just don't give enough traction. Any information would be appreciated. What is the widest tire I can fit on the stock rims and remain safe?

Also, if anyone has a set of 17" Camaro wheels sitting around or something, email me and I will most likely be interested.

i wouldnt go any wider than a 255 on the stock wheel
