Greetings to you the Camaro enthusiasts at CamaroZ28.com. I am a new member, but a frequent visitor to this web site.
I am Three for the VIN number of the 2010 Captured Test Fleet Camaro I have the privilege of evaluating for General Motors in preparation for the cars you are about to receive. Number 3 is a Red 1LT with connectivity and sunroof, and it is an awesome car. Period!
We took Number 3 to California over Christmas to get some major miles on the car. It was a great trip made even greater by a fabulous automobile.
I have been posting on another forum and have found many of the same questions and issues raised here, and frequently links to some of my posts at the other location have been used as responses. That tells me that many of you also frequent many of the Camaro sites.
I have tried to offer "virtual" access to the car as we progress toward the cars going to the dealers. I have looked at the websites as being a simple extension of the simple stop at a gas station or restaurant. "Hey is that the new Camaro?" "Why yes it is. Have a look". So I have provided some photos, videos and at least my opinions on this great car.
Due to great fortune or luck, my wife is evaluating a Red 2SS Camaro. So we have had the ability to compare the two for performance, ride, handing and all the things that might be important to a future buyer.
At the Troy gathering last night with Fbodfather and Cheryl, we had the distinct pleasure to meet Jason and Chris. Thanks for the cars, by the way!!! Jason kindly suggested that posting on more than one website was a good thing, and extended a invitation to CamaroZ28. So here I am.
I expect that as cars start showing up in dealerships, the insight and value I can add will be winding down. Very shortly now you too will begin to experience what a fabulous automobile the 2010 Camaro is. As the debates rage at times, it isn't a perfect car. I have driven a lot of different cars over the years and I havn't found one of those yet. But if your car does for you only half of what it has done for me, then you will a very proud and happy owner.
