Cool One more newbie

Hey, Everyone. My name is Tina. I am 56 years old and for my birthday my husband bought me a 1979 Z28 Camaro, exactly like the one I bought new back in 1979. I love my 5 speed, which is exactly what I wanted; unfortunately right now I am struggling to learn to deal with the weight and power of this car on hills...but I know I will figure it out. To me this has always been my dream car and I am so happy to have it back. This is my summer car as it has the t-roofs and I find myself only wanting to drive it when I can take the roofs off. Unfortunately that hasn't been often as on weekends the weather doesn't always cooperate but...that means I can cherish my car that much longer. I don't ever plan to lose this car again. It is so nice to find this site. I'll keep checking in!

Welcome to the site. I like that year car and remember a buddy of mine had a similar year Pontiac that we used to go cruising in...
